About this event

The 2018 Sanlam Cape Town Marathon took place Sunday, 23 September 2018 from 06:40, at Green Point in Simon's Town, Western Cape, South Africa. Distances included a 42km and 10km races.

The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is Africa's only IAAF Gold label status marathon. It is managed by a partnership between WPA, the City of Cape Town and ASEM Running and is endorsed by two of South Africa's sporting greats, Elana Meyer and Francois Pienaar.
