By using RunningCalendar.co.za you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
About the site
RunningCalendar is an independent event listing service for road and trail running events in Southern Africa. We're not the organisers of the events listed — see our Disclaimer for the full picture on that.
Your account
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details safe. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Subscriptions
The ad-free tier is a recurring monthly subscription. Billing happens on the same day each month. Cancellation works the way our Cancellation Policy describes.
What you can and can't do
You're welcome to browse, share, and link to event listings.
You may not:
- Scrape the site programmatically without our written permission.
- Use our content commercially without our written permission.
- Attempt to disrupt the site or gain unauthorised access to it or to other users' accounts.
- Misrepresent yourself as an event organiser or as RunningCalendar.
Intellectual property
Event listings draw on publicly available information from event organisers' own websites and social media. The compilation, categorisation, editorial articles, and site design are RunningCalendar's intellectual property. Event organisers retain rights to their own logos, descriptions, and event branding.
No warranties
We do our best to keep listings accurate, but we don't guarantee they're error-free or up to date. Event details change; always check the official event website before entering or travelling. We're not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or out-of-date listings — see the Disclaimer for more.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the site is limited to the greater of (a) what you've paid us in the past 12 months, or (b) R1,000.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an on-site banner. Continuing to use the site after changes take effect means you accept them.
