About this event
The Daveyton Hearts Athletics Club, in partnership with the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, will be hosting the Daveyton Hearts Street Mile Race, a community-based sporting event aimed at promoting athletics and nurturing emerging talent, particularly among young people in the township.
The Street Mile Race is a youth-focused initiative designed to identify, develop, and showcase athletic talent within the community. The competition will feature several race categories, including Under-15, Junior (Male and Female), and Senior (Male and Female) divisions. Participants in these categories will compete in a fast-paced mile race, covering 1 mile (approximately 1.6 kilometres) from start to finish.
