About this event
The 2024 African Bank Soweto Marathon took place Sunday, 3 November 2024 from 05:30, at Johannesburg Expo Centre, Narec in Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa. Distances included a 42km, 21km and 10km races.
The African Bank Soweto Marathon is no ordinary race. Dubbed "The People’s Race", the African Bank Soweto Marathon has a special place in the hearts of many South African runners.
