The 2022 Rand Water Vaal River City Marathon took place Sunday, 2 October 2022 from 06:00, at Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, South Africa. Distances included a 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km races.

The Rand Water Vaal River City Marathon is back and will be held on 2 October 2022. This is a fast easy qualifier, that will be timed Mat to Mat on the 21.1km and 42.2km for the best qualifying time possible. The 10km will be timed gun to mat.
