About this event
This race had its humble beginnings in February 2022 as Inkamana Road Race, offering a 10 km race and the 5 km fun run. In 2023 this event leaped forward as Inkamana Half Marathon, with the 21.1km race being added.
It is with great excitement in 2025 to grow this event to a full 42 km marathon and to rename it in honour of one Son of the Soil, a Zululand great and Inkamana High School Alumni, the Honourable Professor Otty Nxumalo.
The marathon race is an Official Qualifier for the Two Oceans and Comrades Marathons!
